Aaron Schwartz, MD
Dr. Aaron Schwartz grew up in Washington D.C. and attended Princeton University for his undergraduate degrees in Economics and Politics. He then completed a post-baccalaureate and medical school program at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. After concluding his Emergency Medicine Residency at Temple University in Philadelphia, he moved to South Florida, where he practiced in a Level I trauma center and several busy community hospitals. Having moved to Houston over 10 years ago to raise a family and work in the prestigious Texas Medical Center, he became familiar with the Elite Care Emergency Room in Rice Village, where he joined the medical staff in 2016 and assumed his role as Medical Director in 2017.
Dr. Schwartz has always enjoyed the Pediatric side of Emergency Medicine and is passionate about teaching not only students of the medical profession but also each of the patients or parents that he encounters in the emergency room. He believes that each patient should be a joint decision-maker in their health and medical care. He is thrilled to have an environment like Elite Care where he is able to take the time to get to know his patients and ensure that they not only receive exceptional care in the ER but also have a treatment team available as an outpatient to follow-up on their illness and provide the best outcomes possible. This passion is shared by all of the physicians and team members at Elite Care Rice Village.
